ISO 9001:2000
The
ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 families are among ISO's most widely
known standards ever. ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 standards are
implemented by some 610 000 organizations in 160 countries. ISO
9001 has become an international reference for quality
management requirements in business-to-business dealings, and
ISO 14000 is well on the way to achieving as much, if not more,
in enabling organizations to meet their environmental
challenges.
The ISO 9001 family is primarily concerned with "quality
management". This means what the organization does to
fulfill:
the customer's quality requirements, and
applicable regulatory requirements, while aiming to
enhance customer satisfaction, and
achieve continual improvement of its performance in pursuit of
these objectives.
NATIONAL ASSOSIACION OF ESTATES
AGENCIES (FOPDAC)
FOPDAC
has recently joined with the NAEA. All future activity and
membership of FOPDAC will be under the NAEA International
Division Incorporating FOPDAC
The
Federation of Overseas Property Developers, Agents and
Consultants was established in 1973 to unite those agents,
developers and specialist consultants active in the
international property markets whose common aim is to conduct
their activities in a manner which seeks to protect the
interests of those who have decided to purchase, or sell, a
property overseas.
Membership of the Federation is restricted to companies or
individuals whose probity is beyond reasonable question. The
individual principals must have the experience and professional
expertise to meet the strict criteria set in the Federation's
Code of Ethics. The Committee of the Federation and its members
provide a valuable reservoir of many cumulative years of
experience in international property.
